Kolsquare: Use our synchronization to track your affiliate performance from your Kolsquare account
Discover the most-read articles
The Kolsquare synchronisation sends the affiliate results of your Affilae program to your Kolsquare account. You then track sales volume, revenue and conversion rate for each KOL affiliated with your campaign, directly in your Kolsquare reporting.
We activate this connection on our side. There is nothing to set up in your Affilae interface, and no Affilae screen dedicated to this synchronisation.
Activating the synchronisation, step by step
The process has two stages: a request on the Affilae side, then an ID to paste on the Kolsquare side.
- Contact your Affilae Account Manager or the Support team and ask for the Kolsquare synchronisation.
- Give us your permission to share your data with Kolsquare. Nothing is opened without your explicit agreement.
- We authorise your advertiser account, then we send you the ID to enter in Kolsquare.
- In Kolsquare, open Settings, then Integrations.
- Click the Affilae button and paste the ID we sent you.
- When you create a Kolsquare campaign, select your program in the Affilae field. Affiliate data is then activated for every KOL in the campaign.

What you see in Kolsquare
Once the campaign is linked to your program, affiliate metrics appear in your Kolsquare reporting, KOL by KOL.

What the synchronisation shares, and what it does not
Kolsquare reads your data through a dedicated access, restricted to the advertiser accounts we have explicitly authorised, and limited to read only.
Kolsquare can read:
- the list of partners in your program, with their status;
- your program performance metrics over the requested period: impressions, clicks, conversions, revenue, commissions and EPC;
- the breakdown of those metrics by partner, by commission rule, by creative, by group or by product.
Kolsquare cannot write anything into your Affilae account. It does not create partnerships, approve conversions or trigger payments. It has no access to your invoices, your bank details or your subscription.
Why connect your two accounts
- Measure influence in revenue. Your campaigns are no longer judged on views and engagement alone, but also on sales and commissions.
- Avoid working in two tools. Your influence teams stay in Kolsquare, with no exports to reconcile between platforms.
- Compare your KOLs. Because everyone is measured the same way, you quickly spot the creators who actually convert.
- One single source of truth. The figures shown in Kolsquare come from your Affilae program, not from an estimate.
Best practices
- Give each KOL their own tracking link. That is what allows sales to be attributed creator by creator, in Affilae as well as in Kolsquare.
- Approve partnerships before the campaign starts. A KOL without an active partnership generates no data to display.
- Give your programs recognisable names: that name is what you will look for in the Affilae field in Kolsquare.
- Every now and then, compare a figure shown in Kolsquare with the same figure in your Affilae Reporting. That is where the data comes from, and where to investigate any gap.
- If you stop working with Kolsquare, ask for the authorisation to be withdrawn rather than leaving it in place.
Use cases
- A cosmetics brand launching a collection. It recruits fifteen creators in Kolsquare, has them join its Affilae program, then links the campaign to that program. At the end of the operation, it knows which creator generated the most sales, not just the most views.
- An advertiser arbitrating between influence and classic affiliation. The influence team manages its KOLs in Kolsquare, the acquisition team follows the whole program in the Affilae Reporting. Both look at the same numbers.
- An agency managing several brands. Each Kolsquare campaign points to the Affilae program of the brand concerned, which keeps results from getting mixed up.

Nowhere in your interface. This ID is not displayed in Affilae: our team sends it to you once your account has been authorised. If you have lost it, ask your Account Manager or Support for it again.
No. The Kolsquare synchronisation does not use your API keys. It relies on a dedicated access that we open for your advertiser account. Your API keys remain reserved for your own developments.
No. The access is read only. Kolsquare does not create partnerships, approve conversions, edit commission rules or trigger payments.
Three possible causes. The KOL has no approved partnership on your program, they are not using their Affilae tracking link, or the Kolsquare campaign points to the wrong program in the Affilae field. First check in your Affilae Reporting that the sales are recorded there.
No. Kolsquare displays your Affilae data, but your Affilae Reporting remains the reference source and the only place with the full detail: conversions line by line, statuses, clicks and payments.
Yes, at any time. Ask your Account Manager or Support to withdraw the authorisation. Your advertiser account leaves the list of authorised accounts and Kolsquare stops reading anything.
On the Affilae side, activation is handled by our teams. For anything related to your Kolsquare subscription and access to this integration on their side, please talk directly to your Kolsquare contact.
The authorisation covers your advertiser account, and therefore the programs it contains. You then choose the relevant program when you create the campaign, in the Affilae field in Kolsquare.
