Mobile app: Dashboard

The Dashboard is the home screen of the Affilae mobile app: it brings together your earnings, your key metrics, your best products and your most profitable brands. It is the view to open every morning to see in ten seconds whether your performance is going up or down.

Prerequisite: you must be signed in with your publisher account, have at least one affiliate profile and an approved partnership with a brand. Without a partnership the screen still opens, but it stays empty.

Open the dashboard

The dashboard is the first tab in the bottom bar: it is the screen that opens automatically after you sign in.

Your performance
Dashboard Brands + Links Profile
The bottom tab bar: the Dashboard tab is active.
  1. In the bottom bar, tap the Dashboard tab.
  2. At the top of the screen, the Hello message followed by your first name confirms you are on the right account.
  3. To the left of that message, your profile picture opens the My account screen. To the right, the bell opens your Notifications and shows a red badge when something new is waiting.
  4. Scroll down to go through every block, from the chart to the partners ranking.
Tip: to force the figures to update, pull the screen down and release. The app then reloads all the dashboard data.

Read the earnings chart

The first block on the screen is a chart tracking a single figure, your Earnings, which is what your work paid you over the selected period.

Earnings
460.13 € 14.2 % Last 30 days
Actual period Previous period
The chart at the top of the dashboard: the Earnings label, the amount, its evolution, the period analysed and the two compared lines.
  • Earnings: the label above the chart. Just below it, the total amount you earned over the selected period.
  • The percentage next to the amount compares the displayed period with the previous one. A green arrow pointing up means growth, a red arrow pointing down means a drop.
  • On the right, a calendar icon repeats the period being analysed, for example Last 30 days.
  • The legend tells the two lines apart: Actual period (solid purple line) and Previous period (dashed grey line). You can see at a glance whether you are beating your past self.
  • Place your finger on the line and slide it: the Earnings label is replaced by the date you point at, and the amount becomes the one for that exact day.
  • If you filtered on a single brand, its name appears under the chart.
  • With no earnings over the period, the chart is replaced by the message No earnings yet.

Choose the period displayed

Below the chart, four buttons change the period with a single tap. Every block on the screen is recalculated right away.

Day Weekly Month Year
The four period buttons, here set to Month.
  • Day shows Today, compared with yesterday.
  • Weekly shows the Last 7 days, compared with the 7 days before.
  • Month shows the current calendar month, from the 1st to today, compared with the same part of the previous month. For a rolling 30 day window, use the Filters.
  • Year shows This year, compared with last year.

For finer control, tap the Filters icon at the top right of the chart. A panel slides up from the bottom of the screen with four settings.

The dashboard Filters panel and its four settings.
  1. Period opens four choices: Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days and This year. Last 30 days is only available here, no quick button offers it.
  2. Profile narrows the view to one of your affiliate profiles, or keeps them All.
  3. Brand isolates a single partner program.
  4. Currency picks the currency of the amounts. A publisher paid in euros and dollars therefore reads the figures one currency at a time.
  5. Finish with Apply, or start over with Clear all.

The number of active filters appears in a badge on the Filters icon, which saves you from worrying about a low figure that was only caused by a filter left in place.

Understand the four metrics

Below the chart and the product carousel, four cards sum up your activity over the selected period. Each one shows how it evolved compared with the previous period.

Clicks1,816 9.3 %
Sales47 17.5 %
Avg. Com.9.79 € 6.4 %
Revenue4,812.00 € 12.1 %
The four metric cards, each with its evolution.
  • Clicks: the number of visitors who clicked your tracked links. This is the traffic you sent.
  • Sales: the number of orders attributed to your links over the period.
  • Avg. Com.: your average commission per sale, that is your total commissions divided by the number of sales.
  • Revenue: the turnover your sales generated for the brands. This is not what you are paid, but what you made them sell.
Note: the percentage disappears when the comparison makes no sense, for instance if the previous period was at zero. A card without a percentage is not a bug.

Spot your best products

The Top selling products block shows up to ten products, from best seller down, as cards you scroll through horizontally.

Top selling products View all
1
Baby & Cie 12 orders
2
Maison Lumen 9 orders
3
Atelier Verso 7 orders
The Top selling products block: cards you scroll through horizontally, with a gold, silver and bronze medal on the top three. The product image is replaced here by a grey placeholder.
  1. Each card shows the product image, the brand and the number of orders generated.
  2. Tap a card: it flips over and shows the product title, with three buttons to open the product page, create a tracked link or add the product to your favourites.
  3. Tap View all to the right of the title to open the full Top selling products screen.

If no product sale was recorded over the period, the block does not appear at all.

Follow your partners ranking

The last block, Partners, ranks your brands by the commissions you earned. The top three get a medal: gold, silver and bronze.

Partners View all
1 Baby & Cie21 Sales / 2,148.00 € Revenues 214.60 €
2 Maison Lumen14 Sales / 1,392.00 € Revenues 138.90 €
3 Atelier Verso7 Sales / 748.00 € Revenues 62.40 €
The Partners block: the top three brands with their medal, their sales, their revenues and your commissions on the right. The brand logos are replaced here by grey circles.
  • Three brands are shown by default. View all expands the ranking up to ten brands, Reduce collapses it again.
  • Under each brand name you read its number of Sales and the Revenues it generated.
  • On the right, in bold, the amount of your commissions for that brand over the period.
  • With no active partnership over the period, the block shows No partners yet.

What differs from the desktop dashboard

The mobile app is a tighter version, built for a quick look. Reading it does not fully replace the browser version.

  • The mobile chart only tracks Earnings. On desktop you choose which figure to plot.
  • The four mobile metrics are fixed. On desktop you build your own set of metric cards.
  • Two blocks exist on desktop only: the breakdown of your performance and the payments summary.
  • Exporting your best products and jumping to the detailed reporting stay desktop only.
  • In exchange, mobile adds one-tap period buttons, the medal ranking of partners and product cards you flip with your finger.
Note: the Payments screen is not in the bottom bar of the app. You open it from your profile picture, then My account and Payments.

Best practices

  • Always check the period displayed before drawing a conclusion: a low figure often comes from a Day filter left active.
  • Compare Clicks and Sales rather than looking at your earnings alone: many clicks without sales points to a poorly targeted link.
  • Look at Avg. Com. before choosing which brand to push: two well paid sales are sometimes worth ten small ones.
  • If you work with several currencies, set Currency in the filters before any comparison.
Tip: the Partners ranking is your best editorial guide. The medal winning brands are the ones that really convert with your audience, so they are the ones to feature again.

Use cases

  • Lea, Instagram creator. In the morning she opens the Dashboard tab, stays on Day and checks whether yesterday’s story generated sales. The green percentage is enough for her.
  • Marc, deals publisher. At the end of the month he switches to Month, which shows the current month against the previous one, and compares the Partners ranking from one month to the next.
  • Sofia, multi-profile blogger. She runs two sites. She filters by Profile to find out which one pays best, then focuses her effort on the winner.

Yes. The Month button shows the current calendar month, from the 1st to today, compared with the same part of the previous month. If you want a rolling 30 day window instead, open Filters, then Period, then Last 30 days.

The percentage only appears when both compared periods contain data. If the previous period was at zero, the comparison is impossible and the app hides the percentage. This is not a bug.

Yes, if no commission was recorded for the selected period and currency. Widen the period with the Year button, and check in Filters that no profile and no brand is narrowing the view.

Avg. Com. is your average commission per sale, so your own earnings. Revenue is the turnover your sales generated for the brand, so what you made them sell. Revenue is always much higher than your commissions.

Pull the dashboard screen down and release: the app reloads all the data. Keep in mind that clicks and sales are reported with a slight delay.

The bottom bar holds Dashboard, Brands, Create, Links and Profile. The Payments screen opens from your profile picture at the top of the dashboard, then My account and Payments.

Check three settings first: the period displayed, the currency, and the Profile and Brand filters. A badge on the Filters icon shows how many filters are active. Tap Clear all to go back to the full view.
