Editing a publisher’s commission group

A commission group (called Affiliate group in the app) gathers several publishers to whom you apply the same commission rules. Moving a publisher to another group instantly applies that group’s rates and rules, without reconfiguring the commission one by one.
Move a publisher to another group
You change the group from your affiliates list, inside the relevant program.
- In the left menu, open Manage programs, then select the relevant program.
- Open the My affiliates tab: the list of all your partnerships appears.
- Find the publisher to move. The Group column shows their current group.
- In the Actions column, click the edit icon (pencil) on their row.
- In the Global settings panel, open the Affiliate group list and pick the new group.
- Save. The new group rate applies right away to the publisher’s future conversions.
Move several publishers at once
To reassign a batch of publishers, use the bulk actions in the My affiliates list.
- Tick the publishers you want to move in the list.
- An action bar appears: “Use bulk actions to change the group or status of selected partnerships.”
- Click Change group, pick the destination group, then confirm.
- The message “The group of the selected partnerships has been successfully changed” confirms the operation.
Why move a publisher to another group
- Reward your best partners by placing them in a higher-rate group.
- Apply a shared rate to several publishers without configuring them one by one.
- Segment your affiliates (influencers, cashback sites, comparison sites) with rules suited to each profile.
- Save time: a change to the group cascades to all of its members.
Best practices
- Create the destination group first and check its rules before moving any publisher into it.
- Let the publisher know if their rate changes, especially a decrease, to protect the relationship.
- Keep custom rates for truly special cases: a well-designed group covers most needs.
Use cases
- An influencer takes off: they drive many sales, so you move them from the “Default group” to a better-paid “Top partners” group.
- Seasonal campaign: before the sales, you gather your key publishers in a boosted-rate group, then move them back afterward.
- New partner type: you create a “Cashback” group with a dedicated rate and move all cashback sites into it.
