Creating an account and an editor profile

To promote programs and earn commissions on Affilae, you need two things: an account and at least one editor profile. You first create your account (your login), then your first editor profile (the card that presents your site or channels). Creating a profile is now AI-assisted: you enter a URL, our AI analyzes it and pre-fills the form for you.

Create your Affilae account

You create your account from the publisher sign-up page. You reach it from the login page, through the “become an affiliate” link.

1. Open the sign-up page. It is titled Create your Affilae account.
2. Click Sign up with email. You can also sign up with Google, Facebook, Apple or Instagram.
3. Fill in your details: First name, Last name, Email, Phone, Password and Confirm Password. All fields are required.
4. Make sure your password respects the rules (see the list below the password field).
5. Tick the box to accept the general conditions of use and sale and the data protection agreement.
6. Click Create account.

Your password must contain:

• At least 9 characters
• At least one capital letter
• At least one number
• At least one special character

After you click Create account, two short steps finish the setup:

1. Email confirmation: you receive an email. Click the link inside it to confirm your address.
2. Two-factor authentication: you set up a second security step to protect your account. Follow the instructions on screen.

Create your editor profile

Once your account is confirmed, you create your first editor profile. No more typing everything by hand: you give a URL, Affilae’s AI analyzes it and fills in the form for you.

1. On the Create your profile step, enter the URL of one of your channels in the field Enter your social profile or website URL.
2. Click Analyze my profile.
3. Wait a few seconds while the AI analyzes your channel.
4. Review the short 2-step form the AI has pre-filled (see below), correct anything that is wrong, then save.

Supported channels: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and any website.

The pre-filled form has two steps.

Step 1: your profile

• Profile name: the name of your creator card.
• Country and Currency.
• Categories: 1 to 5 categories that describe your content.
• Short description: a summary, 150 characters maximum.
• Description: an optional longer text, 2000 characters maximum.

Click Continue to go to step 2.

Step 2: your activity

• Affiliate type: the kind of affiliate you are.
• Content formats: at least one format.
• Social networks: optional.

You can click Previous to go back to step 1. When you are ready, click Validate and continue.

Your profile is then created. Affilae shows you a set of AI recommendations, your suggested program matches, where you can Apply right away or Continue.

Add more profiles

You can add other profiles at any time, for example to promote programs with a second blog or another social account. Each new profile uses the same URL, AI analysis and form flow.

1. Open My account.
2. Go to Profiles overview.
3. Click Add profile.
4. Enter the URL of the new channel and follow the same steps as above.

Why create an editor profile

Your profile is your gateway to partnerships. It lets you:

• Apply to programs in the Marketplace and build partnerships with brands.
• Get discovered automatically by advertisers through AI matches, which pair your profile with relevant programs.
• Generate tracking links and earn commissions on the sales or leads you bring.
• Manage several audiences (sites, channels) from a single login, with a dedicated profile for each.

Best practices

• Write clear descriptions: advertisers read them, and they feed the relevance of your AI matches.
• Fill in your content formats and social networks: the more complete your profile, the better the recommendations.
• Review what the AI pre-filled before validating: fix the name, country or categories if needed.

Use cases

• A single blog: you run a travel site. You create one profile, with Travel categories and a description of your editorial line.
• A multi-channel creator: you post on Instagram and TikTok about lifestyle. You create one profile and add both channels to be matched with the right programs.
• Several topics: you run a cooking blog and a home-decor blog. You create two separate profiles under the same account, each with its own categories.
