Mobile app: Tracked links

Your tracked links are your personal affiliate links, generated straight from the Affilae mobile app. You create a link for a brand, copy it, then share it in your content: every sale made from that link is attributed to you and earns your commission.

Prerequisite: you must be signed in with your publisher account and have an approved partnership with the brand. A link can only be created for a program you already work with.

Open the Links screen

You reach it from the tab bar at the bottom of the app screen.

The bottom tab bar: the « Links » tab is active.

In the bottom bar, tap the Links tab.
Two tabs appear at the top: All links (your existing links) and Create a link.
Open the Create a link tab to generate a new link.

Tip: you can also tap the round + button in the center of the bottom bar, then choose Tracked links: it is a direct shortcut to link creation.

Create link

The « Create a link » tab: fill in the URL, program, profile and shortener, then tap « Create link ».

In the URL field, paste the address you want to send your visitors to (home page, category or product page).
Pick the Program (the brand) you are creating this link for.
Select the Profile to attach to the link, if you manage several.
Choose the Link shortener for a shorter link: Affilae or Bitly, depending on the available options.
Tap Create link: your tracked link is generated right away.

Copy and share your link

Once the link is created, a share screen appears with the title Ready to Share?.

Check link

The share screen: « Copy link » puts the link on your clipboard, « Check link » opens it in the browser.

Tap Copy link to put the link on your clipboard, ready to paste.
Tap Check link to open the link and confirm it points to the right page.
Then paste the link into your content: story, bio, newsletter, article or message.

Your created links stay available in the All links tab, so you can find and copy them again any time.

Best practices

Link to the most specific page you can (the product page), not just the home page: the visitor lands straight on what matters.
Use a profile that matches the channel where you publish, to keep your stats readable.
Always tap Check link before publishing: you avoid sharing a broken link.

Tip: pick the Bitly shortener if you connected your Bitly account, otherwise Affilae shortens your links very well by default.

The Program field is empty. Choose the brand you have an approved partnership with, then create the link again.
