Can you introduce Joko and your role to us?

Joko is an all-in-one shopping app with 2.8 million users and over 3000 partners across numerous verticals: Fashion, Travel, High Tech…

Our mission is to boost our users’ purchasing power and support them in making smarter purchases. Through a seamless, simplified, and unified shopping experience , they save money and time, and have all the information they need to make a purchase.

We offer various features: 

  • Cashback online and in stores
  • Payment in installments
  • Automatic application of promo codes
  • Price drop alerts on saved products
  • A tool to aid budgetary and carbon footprint decision-making

I support my advertising clients in the High Tech, Home and Travel verticals to increase their performance and help them in their acquisition and loyalty strategy.

We offer several options to showcase our clients: 

  • Omnichannel strategies (360 editorial campaign, sending newsletters with opt-in from 1.5 million users)
  • Push notifications to 1.5 million users with targeting of 30K users thanks to banking data and app browsing data .
  • Display on the app
  • A personalized newsletter that allows you to target users most likely to make a purchase based on their behavior or similar items they have viewed.
  • Promoting partners on social media (TikTok works well).
  • Fixed-cost and premium-rate pricing can be deployed across all of our partners’ campaigns.

How do you select the brands you work with? Do you have any prerogatives? 

We have chosen not to make a selection; all partners can apply.

Why choose affiliate marketing as your primary source of monetization?

When Joko was founded in 2018, we only offered in-store cashback. Since the Covid pandemic, online cashback has accounted for over 50% of our business. Implementing affiliate cashback is a win-win situation and extremely scalable.
