Simulateur de commissions
Introduction
During a sales process, several scenarios are possible, sometimes involving multiple affiliates.
It's precisely to fairly commission all affiliates who contributed to the sales process that Affilae has introduced the commission "sharing" mode. Commissions are shared between affiliates according to each one's weight: affiliates with a higher weight will receive a larger commission than those with a lower weight.
The idea is to reward websites that offer quality content and contribute far more to the sales process than a promo code site, which typically comes in after the purchase decision, just before the payment stage. Sometimes, however, the advertiser has done most of the work, and it's their own traffic acquisition (organic or paid) that attracted the visitor at the very beginning of the sales process.
In that case, the advertiser is included in the commission split, and their share is deducted from the total amount to be paid out to affiliates (only if the first visit was generated by the advertiser).
The simulator below lets you test different configurations to understand how the mechanism works and fine-tune your affiliate program settings.
The order placed by the visitor in the following scenarios is €100, and the base commission is 10%, i.e. €10.
