Hello Jérémy, we are delighted to interview you today. Rip Curl is a globally renowned Australian company for clothing, accessories, and surf equipment! To continue developing, the brand turned to creating an affiliate program a few years ago. We will discover how to ensure ambitious growth and a target ROAS in the sportswear market with affiliation.

 

Jérémy, who are you? What is your role at Rip Curl?

I have been a traffic manager for Rip Curl Europe for 5 years now. I am responsible for launching digital campaigns on various acquisition channels. Our goal is to maintain a target ROAS on each lever. I work daily on the Rip Curl affiliate program with the Affilae teams.

 

Why did you decide to create a Rip Curl affiliate program?

This strategy originated at the Rip Curl International group level. Each region (USA, AU, EU) has had its Rip Curl affiliate program for 2 years now.

We initially wanted to launch the Rip Curl affiliate program in France to seek additional conversions and traffic in an already strong market.

Additionally, using affiliation allows us to reach other consumers and gain better brand visibility. This is how we can ensure sustainable growth for our brand through affiliation.

How did the Affilae teams support your project?

The Affilae teams were very responsive in organizing the first “strategic” meetings and setting up the account. Within a few days, the first programs were launched.

 

What are the advantages of working with a platform like Affilae?

I can only recommend Affilae to launch your first affiliate programs. The dashboard is intuitive and has all the necessary KPIs to allow us to monitor the effectiveness of ongoing programs daily.

We have a highly responsive Account Manager who is proactive. This allows us to test new growth levers quite regularly. Every 15 days, we communicate transparently with our Affilae contact to progress together toward the main objective: increasing the share of affiliation in our revenues.

Finally, we will launch the German market with Affilae in 2023, a new challenge to tackle together with you!
